Origins

This marks the foundation of the company by Jeevan Bhai Thanki, working with the Jethwa Royal Family. The focus was on construction and infrastructure.

1985-2004

Diversification

Here, Hemalay enters bauxite mining and export, expanding into new markets and consolidating its position in the mineral industry.

2023

This represents the current and future focus on developing technically advanced mineral products and establishing a leading position in the global market for specialized mineral technology.

1947-1974

Expansion

This period encompasses the entry into mining with chalk and limestone, incorporation as a company, and venturing into cement production under Gujarat Himalaya Cement Ltd and real estate. It represents a significant broadening of the company’s activities.

2015-2023

Specialization

This stage marks a shift towards value-added processing with bauxite calcination and the import of high-grade bauxite. Hemalay begins to focus on specialized mineral products.
